Forest Therapy Extremes

What sort of terrain, trees and forested sites are suitable for Forest Therapy? While INFTA-Certified Forest Therapy Guides already operate in the most expensive city to live in, Tel Aviv, and at Kununurra, one of the hottest places in the North of Australia, our Western Australian Forest Therapy Guide trainee, Mr. Peter Kenyon, even came by trees in the middle of the Nullabor Plain, a semi-arid area in South Australia.

Part of the training of INFTA-Certified Forest Therapy Guides is finding suitable trails to conduct their guided Public Forest Therapy sessions. While the Nullabor Plain may be a bit tricky to reach, it is always surprising and rewarding to see where trees grow and survive – despite sometimes extreme weather conditions. Thus, INFTA is extremely grateful to each Forest Therapy Guide who conducts Forest Therapy sessions to the Public, the community or private groups. No doubt, our Forest Therapy Guides sometimes take Forest Therapy to the extreme!
